What You'll Do
- Develop, manage and professionalize an on-premises Kubernetes platform and the underlying infrastructure.
- Automate provisioning, configuration and deployments with Terraform, Argo CD, Helm, Vault and Rancher.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and/or Jenkins, with Infrastructure as Code as the standard.
- Set up secure, reusable platform building blocks enabling internal teams to deploy and manage applications independently.
- Perform upgrades, patches, troubleshooting and structural improvements on Linux and container infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, security specialists and DevOps teams to ensure quality, availability and compliance.
- Participate in 24/7 support and translate incidents into durable platform improvements. What We're Looking For
- HBO- or WO-level education and extensive hands-on experience with production Kubernetes environments.
- Deep knowledge of on-premises Kubernetes clusters, Linux and the underlying infrastructure of the container platform.
- Proven experience with Argo CD, Terraform, Vault, Rancher and Helm.
- Experience with GitLab CI and/or Jenkins and designing reliable deployment and management processes.
- A DevOps mindset, strong analytical ability and the drive to automate manual work.
- You are communicative, proactive and capable of bringing others along, guiding and transferring knowledge.
- You use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly for analysis, documentation and automation, with attention to security and traceability.
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call support. Nice to Have
- CKA and/or CKAD certification is a strong plus.
