About the Role We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Cloud Operations team, owning a sophisticated multi-cloud AWS & GCP environment across EU, US, and AP, and driving its architectural evolution to ensure reliability and performance for our real estate portfolio (Trovit, Mitula, Lamudi, FazWaz, Wasi, Proppit, DotProperty). What You'll Do
- Act as a proactive technical reference, influence architectural decisions and foster a DevOps culture across multiple development teams.
- Architect, manage and operate AWS/GCP services, ensuring seamless interoperability between platforms with Cross Connects and VPNs; design scalable infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt and GitLab pipelines; manage DNS zones (Route53, Cloudflare) and drive CDN/WAF configurations (CloudFront, Cloudflare) including geo-blocking and bot management.
- Lead cloud cost optimization and DevOps engineering efforts, analyzing traffic patterns and CloudTrail logs, collaborating with engineers to adopt cost-effective architectures.
- Drive security and access management: onboard AWS Organization accounts, enforce security best practices, govern IAM users, SSO groups, cross-account roles, and respond to security alerts.
- Design, implement, and evolve monitoring, observability and incident response plans (Prometheus, Alertmanager, CloudWatch); participate in on-call rotations and guide cross-team incident resolution. What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years managing large-scale production infrastructure in AWS.
- High initiative and ability to influence technical decisions, mentor peers, and foster engineering excellence across multiple teams.
- Strong Linux and Open Source software skills; expert-level experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), especially Terraform.
- Deep, hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services; solid background in Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration.
- Advanced experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines; English language skills (team communicates in ES/EN). Nice to Have
- Configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Experience with logging systems such as EFK or similar.
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Python, Java).
- Experience with Cloudflare (WAF, DNS, bot management).
- Familiarity with Docker.
