Job title: Senior Clinical System Lead
About the Role ICON's Senior Clinical System Lead will oversee the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems that drive the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical trials. You will manage day-to-day scientific operations and lead Clinical Data Science (CDS) project teams across initiation, setup, maintenance, control, and closing of systems used in trials.
What You'll Do
- Lead and direct one or more Clinical Data Science (CDS) project teams engaged in initiation, planning, setup, maintenance, control and closing of systems used in clinical trial projects.
- Support sales efforts by participating in and providing expertise to Business Development.
- Peer review of study team technical documentation and work output.
- Contact point for internal and external customer teams on assigned studies.
- Assist in leading project kickoff (internal and external) meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in leading the development and implementation of clinical systems, with a deep understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects effectively.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools, with experience in system integration and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 15%).
