Job title: Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) - Oncology Phase I - Israel

About the Role ICON is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join our sponsor-dedicated oncology team in Israel. You will oversee trial activities to ensure compliance with protocol, regulatory requirements, and GCP, contributing to data integrity, participant safety, and overall trial success across study sites.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
  • Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure successful trial execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of clinical trial conduct.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to facilitate smooth trial operations.
  • Assist in managing multiple sites and projects ensuring timelines and quality are maintained.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, nursing, or medicine.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate with strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience independently monitoring Phase I oncology clinical trials, particularly solid tumors (e.g., lung cancer and melanoma).
  • Experience with dose-escalation studies is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management, with proficiency in relevant clinical trial software and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive compliance within a complex environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Hebrew & English.
  • Ability to travel at least 60% of the time and should possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with solid tumors (e.g., lung cancer, melanoma).
  • Phase I oncology experience is advantageous.
