Job Description:

As a Senior Client Engagement Manager (CEM), you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize Microchip’s Client Engagement Process to drive design wins to revenue at select focus clients.
• Use insight and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Microchip‘s solutions.
• Drive the company business relationship with the assigned clients.
• Identify the key client stakeholders and coach those stakeholders to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions within their organization.
• Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across clients’ divisions and geographical locations.
• Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients.
• Work closely with local and regional applications engineers to provide unique, compelling and innovative solutions to assigned clients

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent sales experience) with a strong client engagement track record
• 7+ years of semiconductor sales experience
• Proficient in essential competencies including problem-solving, program management, management of major accounts with an adept knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Prior Salesforce experience is preferred

This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.

• 25% - 50%

Pay Range: We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $103,000 - $200,000.

Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
