About the Role A Senior Chemist II in Analytical Chemistry & Stability at L’Oréal Research & Innovation in Clark, NJ will contribute to the development and stability assessment of cosmetic products, ensuring analytical rigor and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate analytical methods for cosmetic product stability and quality attributes.
- Conduct stability studies under various conditions and interpret data to inform product development and shelf-life estimates.
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure robust methods and compliant documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field with experience in analytical chemistry and stability testing.
- Strong knowledge of chromatographic techniques and analytical method development.
- Experience with method validation, data integrity, and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cosmetic product development and stability forecasting.
- Experience with spectroscopy or non-chromatographic methods.
