Senior Certification Engineer
FM Approvals is recognised as a European Union Notified Body based in Dublin, Ireland. FM Approved products cover a wide range of property loss prevention products involving electrical systems, fire protection and building materials. The certification engineer position reports to the European Certification Manager and supports Notified Body activities. Travel will equate to approx. 25% of the working time.
Responsibilities
- Review certification project documentation including but not limited to applications; test/assessment plans; test and/or audit reports and quality system certifications.
- Evaluate and authorise certificates issued by the organisation in accordance with the requirements of the certification scheme and where appropriate, issue the suspension, cancellation or withdrawal of certificates as required.
