About the Role Senior Regional Category Buyer HR Service & Marcom APAC leads regional strategic sourcing for HR services, marketing, and events in APAC, delivering commercial, logistical and process improvements while strengthening partnerships with internal customers and business partners. What You'll Do
- Drive all related purchasing activities in the APAC region for HR service, marketing and events with the Regional Cluster Manager.
- Lead negotiations with a focus on commercial and operational excellence; ensure compliance with applicable rules; identify synergy potential and ensure coverage of business requirements; drive contractual coverage.
- Align purchasing activity with internal customer strategy; support operational improvements by negotiating commercial benefits.
- Manage the ordering process via CTOS and SAP, including handling complaints and internal/external communications.
- Prepare and conduct tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations for complex procurement projects in defined areas, in cooperation with Global Category Head.
- Create and compile Sourcing Decisions Sheets; ensure BPCoC and NDA signatures; collect financial and commercial records; identify and develop vendors.
- Ensure agreements are created, approved and signed and communicated to plants in the region. What We're Looking For
- Academic degree in Administration, Marketing or comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of professional procurement experience, preferably in technical purchasing (NPM area).
- Strong analytical and conceptual competence.
- Exceptional communicator capable of effective communication across cultures, functions and all levels.
- Confident handling of SAP S/4 and MS Office.
- Independent and responsible working style with quick comprehension.
- Advanced negotiating skills, assertiveness, goal- and result-oriented.
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking); multiple languages a plus.
- Experience in project management.
- Willingness to travel within APAC. Nice to Have
