Senior Business Testing Consultant

About the Role The Senior Business Testing Consultant role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of SimCorp's Global Standard Solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders and external service providers to identify and resolve gaps in system integration testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT) and operational readiness testing (ORT), and help ensure updates are trusted, resilient, and aligned with business needs. You will track progress, risks, and dependencies and design and execute test cases across the SIT lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Execute SIT activities during the lifecycle of the onboarding project
• Monitor, debug, and react to failing tests in collaboration with external service providers
• Review test results with external providers and internal stakeholders to address gaps in the SIT process
• Support and consult other teams and business users during UAT and ORT phases
• Test updates to Global Standard Solutions (SimCorp One Platform and Managed Business Services) impacting SIT processes and workflows
• Track and report testing progress, risks, and dependencies
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Value Stream up to Business Services
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scenarios based on functional and technical requirements
• Manage defect lifecycle and reporting using Azure DevOps
• Ensure test readiness and quality sign-off with external service providers and project stakeholders
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and coordination as part of delivery

What We're Looking For

• Knowledge and experience in SimCorp Dimension and testing activities; data mapping experience would be an advantage
• Knowledge of SCD instruments types (e.g., Equities, Bonds, FX, Deposits, Mutual Funds, Derivatives) and their lifecycles (e.g., CTM, trading platforms, SWIFT)
• Alternatively, SimCorp Dimension knowledge in at least one domain: Trade Processing (Securities or Derivatives), Corporate Actions, Reconciliation, Fund Administration, or Reporting
• DevOps mindset and belief in test driven development
• Ability to drive transformation and curiosity to learn about business processes
• Strong collaboration, motivation, and outcome-oriented mindset
• Data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI) and attention to detail
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Tester, or Business Consultant in asset management, investment operations, or financial services
• Primary requirement: APAC with flexibility in EMEA hours; Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
