Senior Business Analyst - Financial Services

About the Role The Analyst – Finance services will provide thought leadership and domain expertise in D365 F&O, translating functional requirements to technical specifications and working with a team of finance BAs to deliver finance solutions that support Dr. Martens’ growth strategy. You will partner with the business finance team to ensure seamless implementation, integration and optimisation of technology across finance operations. What You'll Do

• Support and develop reliable and efficient technology solutions for the finance function.
• Ensure platforms drive automation and improved efficiency to maximise ROI.
• Build relationships with the finance function to ensure strong collaboration.
• Stay ahead of advancements in technologies and methodologies, introducing innovations as needed.
• Act as a key member of the Finance technology team, developing plans for governance, delivery models and management of finance and transactional data.
• Build documented functional and technical specifications for finance applications.
• Audit existing implementations of finance and supply chain systems and recommend improved deployment and utilisation.
• Provide analysis towards the delivery of finance systems activity—month-end, period-end, issue investigation and resolution, reporting, scenario analysis.
• Support continual improvement of the Finance team through technology, including cross-functional process design, adoption of best practices, conventions & standards, and optimal solutions for immediate business needs.
• Support relationships and management of service levels with third-party service and solution providers.
• Proactively engage Finance stakeholders to influence key decisions and conduct operational service reviews. What We're Looking For
• A senior, hands-on finance analytics professional with deep domain knowledge in D365 F&O and finance operations.
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and work effectively with technical counterparts.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience delivering finance technology initiatives in partnership with business finance teams.
• Passion for technology, coaching and the ability to mentor others to success.
