Role Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will partner with agency stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project leadership. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, documenting user stories, facilitating backlog prioritization, and supporting the full software lifecycle delivery of a cloud-based regulatory reporting platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders.

• Perform process modeling and analysis.

• Create and maintain user stories and functional specifications.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Facilitate backlog prioritization sessions.

• Support full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation.

• Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects.

• Experience supporting custom .NET development projects.

• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience supporting at least one full SDLC implementation.

• Demonstrated experience in business requirements gathering, process modeling, user stories, functional specifications, and UAT support.

• Certification Requirement: Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government regulatory systems.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or custom workflow platforms.

• CBAP Certification.

• Experience with data or reporting projects.
