About the Role Senior Biostatistician at Madrigal (a biopharmaceutical company focused on metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis, MASH) is responsible for providing statistical leadership across clinical development programs for Rezdiffra (resmetirom) and related therapeutics. This role ensures rigorous experimental design, analysis, and regulatory-compliant reporting to advance liver-directed therapies. The position sits within a cross-functional team focused on delivering novel therapies for MASH. What You'll Do
- Lead biostatistics activities in clinical development for MASH programs.
- Develop and implement analysis plans (SAPs), perform and review statistical analyses, and support regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with clinical, medical, data management, programming, and regulatory teams to ensure high-quality data interpretation.
- Provide guidance on study design, endpoints, power calculations, multiplicity control, and data quality. What We're Looking For
- PhD or MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- Several years of relevant industry experience in biostatistics within a pharmaceutical/biotech setting.
- Experience with clinical trial analysis, proficiency in SAS and R, and familiarity with regulatory guidelines (FDA/EMA).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Nice to Have
- Experience with liver disease/MASH, THR-β agonists, or metabolic disease programs.
- Leadership or mentoring experience; experience with ADaM/SDTM datasets and data visualization.
