You will drive backend architecture across trading, wallets and payments using Django, DRF and PostgreSQL.
What you'll do

Design and build scalable APIs with Django REST Framework

Model complex trading, escrow and wallet flows

Ensure correctness, security and observability of money-moving code

Optimize PostgreSQL queries and background processing

Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers

What we're looking for

5+ years building backend systems in Python

Deep experience with Django and Django REST Framework

Strong SQL and data-modeling skills (PostgreSQL)

Experience with Redis, Celery and async workloads

A security-first mindset for financial systems

Nice to have

Experience with crypto exchanges or payments

Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time systems

Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD
