Role Overview As a Senior Back-end Engineer, you will architect, design, and scale core backend services and cloud platform infrastructure capable of supporting 10X business growth, 99.999% availability, and sub-millisecond latencies.

You will dive deep into complex domain problems, collaborate with engineering leaders across global locations, and build self-service, resilient backend systems. In this high-impact role, you will combine hands-on technical execution with engineering leadership to drive continuous operational excellence.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, highly available, and scalable backend services to support 10X scale.

• Architect resilient distributed systems and APIs capable of handling massive concurrency with sub-millisecond latencies.

• Define technical vision and system architecture leveraging cloud infrastructure to achieve 99.999% availability.

• Develop self-service platform tools and end-to-end cloud deployment automation using Terraform, Python, or Go.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker), and automated testing/monitoring systems.

• Identify system performance bottlenecks, optimize cloud infrastructure usage, and enforce security and networking best practices.

• Solve complex technical problems across Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Hybrid Cloud environments.

• Exert technical influence across multiple engineering teams through mentorship, architectural reviews, and continuous knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering and building large-scale distributed systems in production.

• Strong proficiency in modern backend programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or C++.

• Proven experience in system design and architecture using public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Linux internals, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

• Demonstrated track record of delivering backend systems requiring 99.999% uptime and low-latency performance.

• Hands-on experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL), automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, and microservices architecture.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical capability, and strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

• 컴퓨터공학 또는 관련 분야 학사 이상의 학위 (또는 이에 준하는 실무 경력)

• 5년 이상의 백엔드 엔지니어링 및 대규모 프로덕션 분산 시스템 구축/운영 실무 경력

• Go, Python, Java, C++ 중 하나 이상의 백엔드 개발 언어에 대한 깊은 전문성

• AWS, GCP, Azure 등 퍼블릭 클라우드 환경에서 대규모 아키텍처를 직접 설계 및 운영한 경험

• 쿠버네티스(Kubernetes), 도커(Docker), 리눅스(Linux) 환경 및 Terraform 등 IaC 도구에 대한 높은 숙련도

• 99.999% 가용성 및 초저지연 성능을 요구하는 백엔드 시스템 구축 및 운영 경험

• 데이터베이스(SQL/NoSQL), CI/CD 자동화 배포 파이프라인, 마이크로서비스 아키텍처(MSA) 실무 경험

• 뛰어난 문제 해결 능력, 분석적 사고, 그리고 글로벌 팀과의 원활한 협업 및 소통 능력
