Job title: Senior Axiom Developer
About the Role Senior role supporting regulatory reporting transformation for a D-sib bank client, focusing on AxiomSL ControllerView-based solutions and APRA regulatory reporting across regions. The team manages changes to data warehouse and regulatory templates as regulations evolve.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL ControllerView (v10+).
- Configure and maintain Axiom components: Data Dictionaries, Data Models, Aggregations, Portfolio rules, Workflow pipelines, Report templates, and validations.
- Optimize configurations for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Manage changes in APRA regulatory reports driven by client/internal changes or regulatory initiatives.
- Work with APRA taxonomy frameworks and regulatory data models; map source data to taxonomy structures; maintain taxonomy mappings; ensure data lineage and reconciliation.
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines; perform data transformations and reconciliations for regulatory accuracy.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production releases; perform data validation and defect resolution; ensure regulatory reporting cycles and delivery timelines.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in AxiomSL development.
- Strong expertise in Axiom ControllerView platform and associated objects.
- Good experience with Taxonomy.
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell/Python).
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M.
- English: Proficient (C2).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in APRA.
- Exposure to cloud or modern data platforms.
