Senior Associate / Lead Analyst - Independence - Risk Management Services

About the Role

Senior Associate / Lead Analyst in EY's Global Monitoring System (GMS) within Risk Management Services. The role focuses on personal independence compliance and monitoring professionals' financial relationships to identify conflicts of interest and provide guidance on independence-related inquiries. What You'll Do

• Develop working knowledge of Personal Independence concepts, including financial interests, family relations, and business relationships.

• Execute procedures per EY Global Independence policies; perform research and updates to EY tools/databases; assess permissibility of investments and relationships; identify and report conflicts of interest.

• Communicate with EY professionals and Global/Regional Independence teams to resolve queries and gather information; become a subject matter expert in Independence processes.

• Conduct quality reviews, analyze issues, and produce well-documented deliverables subject to regulator review.

• Build expertise with internal Independence tools/databases used to record financial and family relationship data (securities, accounts, loans, insurance, etc.).

• Lead knowledge calibration sessions and contribute to process improvements; monitor KPIs and drive efficiency.

• Collaborate with global/regional teams and stakeholders to strengthen the compliance framework and promote client enablement. What We're Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of Personal Independence concepts and related policies; understanding of personal financial interests, family relations, and business relationships.

• Knowledge of financial products and markets (equities, structured products, funds) and ability to assess investment permissibility.

• Ability to answer EY professionals' inquiries with clear, accurate guidance on relationships, conflicts of interest, and independence requirements.

• Experience using internal Independence tools to record data and performing investigations or inquiries.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to operate in a global environment and deliver well-documented outputs.

• Detail-oriented with ability to deliver under regulatory scrutiny and meet KPIs. Nice to Have
