We are hiring a Senior Associate HRBP- Premium Products/Shopping Space to support key HR processes. The Senior Associate plays a critical role in delivering on key HR investments across the broader Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) teams along with planning, monitoring and coordinating logistics for a number of processes, such as talent management and performance management activities.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the broader PPX/Shopping HR and Horizontal HR teams to drive best-in class HR experiences for our associates
  • Leverage HR data systems such as Workday, People Data Hub, Talent Development Tool, etc. to support HR Business Partners
  • Provide data and customized reporting as needed for other requests, i.e. headcount and attrition tracking, spot bonus, spans and layers, etc. on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to execute the semi-annual talent and performance management process, taking the lead on reporting and project management to ensure successful cycles
  • Prepare All Associate Survey summary materials (Google Sheets and/or Slides) for business leaders and partner with HR Business Partners to recommend action items for the business
  • Liaise with other Horizontal HR Partners and Enterprise HR to ensure broader process & policy updates are communicated and implemented across PPX/Shopping HR
  • Document and manage localized playbooks and calendars for all HR programs
  • Understand processes, roles, responsibilities and deadlines to ensure well managed HR processes and focus on continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years experience working successfully in a project or process role, or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resource role (inside or outside of Capital One)
  • At least 1 year experience in role where reporting and data management was required
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets (including basic Sheets functions)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Project Management or Process Management Professional Certification
  • Agile SCRUM certification
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience in Project or Process Management

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
