About this role
- Varied valuation work across a broad mix of clients and industries
- Collaborative team that invests in your growth
- Auckland CBD Office
Do you enjoy getting to the heart of what a business is really worth? Our Financial Advisory Services team is looking for a curious, analytical thinker, ideally with Valuations experience, to join us. Whether you're currently an experienced Analyst, Senior or Assistant Manager, this is a great opportunity to take the next step and grow your career in valuations.
You'll be part of a connected team delivering engagements for clients right across New Zealand. We take pride in the quality of our work, back each other on every assignment, and genuinely enjoy working together.
Working on a variety of valuation engagements, your day-to-day will include:
-
Support the day-to-day delivery of valuation assignments, working largely independently on standard tasks.
-
Undertake financial analysis, modelling and spreadsheet analysis to support valuation work.
-
Conduct technical research and analyse industry trends to inform assignments.
-
Prepare high-quality reports and engagement correspondence for senior team member review, identifying analytical issues and potential solutions.
-
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information, respond to queries and maintain positive relationships.
-
Deliver work within agreed deadlines and quality standards, escalating complex matters, risks and potential delays.
-
Apply the firm’s risk management policies, ethical requirements and checking procedures.
-
Identify opportunities to improve team processes and raise potential business opportunities with senior team members. Beyond client delivery, you'll be encouraged to grow your profile in the market and build strong networks with law firms, banks, government agencies and other referral partners.
Teamwork matters to us. We're looking for someone who will live the Grant Thornton behaviours and help us keep our workplace inclusive, supportive and high performing.
