About the Role Senior Architect/Project Manager for Harriman's PK-12 studio. You will plan, develop and execute medium-to-large scope projects with mentorship under minimal supervision and lead a team of architects and technicians, coordinating with engineering disciplines.
What You'll Do
- Plan, develop and execute medium-to-large scope projects with many complexities under minimal supervision
- Oversee a large staff of architects and technicians and coordinate architectural design with all engineering disciplines and specialty consultants
- Interpret, organize, execute, and delegate assignments to team members
- Develop creative and practical design solutions through research, communication, technical skills and accumulated experience
- Lead within the Studio through mentoring, peer review, business development, client management and design strategy
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience in architecture
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university, or sufficient experience to obtain licensure
- Licensed Architect in Maine, New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts
- Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication
- Experience with all aspects of project delivery (conceptual design, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, consultant coordination, client interaction, construction administration)
- Strong working knowledge of applicable codes
- Willingness to travel throughout New England
- Software proficiencies: Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Newforma Project Center, Deltek Vision, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/Teams

- Involvement in community/design organizations
- Sense of humor and passion for design
