Senior WMS/TMS Solutions Architect

Location: Metro-Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) Salary: 130-140K Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) Travel: Minimal (2-4 trips per year) Relocation Assistance Available No Visa Sponsorship available - W2 only

We are seeking a Senior WMS/TMS Solutions Architect to lead the support, modernization, and evolution of mission-critical Warehouse Management (WMS) and Transportation Management (TMS) systems supporting large-scale distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architecture for WMS/TMS applications

• Modernize legacy systems, including migration toward .NET/C# and React technologies

• Lead TMS enhancement and migration initiatives

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server/T-SQL solutions

• Drive integrations across warehouse, transportation, ERP, and related systems

• Mentor developers while remaining hands-on with development and design

• Required Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience

• Deep WMS/TMS domain expertise

• Strong C#, .NET, SQL Server, and T-SQL skills

• Experience leading application modernization, migrations, and integrations

• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities

• Preferred Experience

• PowerBuilder, Sybase, React, or Delphi

• Azure DevOps, Git, and modern SDLC practices

• Supply chain, logistics, transportation, or distribution technology environments

• Ideal Candidate

• A hands-on technical leader with deep WMS/TMS experience who has supported custom-built systems, participated in major migration initiatives, and can balance solution architecture with active development.
