About the Role
Join a product-focused team at a Series A fintech company to build and scale a consumer Android app for personal finance. You will work with product, engineering, and business partners to deliver useful experiences and contribute to product direction.
What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain the Android application.

Help build and improve the underlying mobile platform.

What We're Looking For

At least 5 years of mobile app development experience, including 2 or more years building and shipping production Android apps.

Strong Kotlin skills, with hands-on experience in Jetpack Compose and MVVM or Clean Architecture.

Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications and working in a startup environment for at least 3 years.

Proficiency with protobufs, REST, and gRPC, and experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.

Experience with Android unit, instrumentation, and UI testing, as well as mobile CI/CD pipelines.

Mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior engineers.

Strong academic background and experience with Android platform architecture are valued.

Experience in data-intensive environments or distributed systems is useful.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates must be based in San Francisco or Seattle.
