About this role
About the Role Join TripleTen to shape and produce the AI Systems Engineering curriculum for engineers transitioning into system architecture roles. You’ll blend subject-matter expertise with content production, shaping the syllabus and creating lessons using AI tools, then iterating with LX designers to ensure accuracy and teachability. The role is async-first and project-based, with a 4–6 month horizon.
What You'll Do
- Review and shape the existing syllabus draft; validate topic sequencing, flag gaps, and align with production realities.
- Define clear learning objectives per topic (outcome-focused).
- Produce lessons using AI-gen tools following our content guidelines; review, fact-check, and fine-tune for technical soundness.
- Design hands-on projects and exercises realistic for engineers studying ~20 hrs/week.
- Write supporting content: project instructions, rubrics, and reviewer guides.
- Respond to LX designer feedback and iterate; manage a back-and-forth content production process.
- Collaborate with SMEs across domains (System Foundations/API & Data, Cloud/Distributed Systems, Security/AI Systems & Architecture Leadership).
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of real-world experience as a Senior Systems Engineer with design/shipping experience at scale.
- Ability to explain why a decision was made, not just how it was implemented.
- Strong technical communication skills for learners; clear, structured explanations.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content drafting and iterative refinement.
- Strong English (C1+).
- Exceptional attention to detail, proactivity, and ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Comfort working in an async, project-based production process.
- Deep knowledge in System Foundations; API & Service Architecture; Data Architecture; Cloud Infrastructure; Distributed Systems; Security; AI Systems Design; Architecture Documentation (ADRs, C4 diagrams).
Nice to Have
- Experience designing curricula or EdTech content.
- Familiarity with LX design processes and feedback loops.
- Knowledge of ADRs, C4 diagrams, and technical communication best practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Milestone-based payments tied to deliverables.
- Fully remote work with flexible hours.
- Digital office tools for collaboration.
- Professional trust and autonomy; no micromanaging.
- Opportunity to see real impact: graduates landing jobs in tech.
