About the Role Senior AI Scientist to lead the evolution of Credit Karma's financial recommendation engines at Intuit. You will architect models to understand member intent, predict what they need, and time recommendations across multiple financial products, with a focus on personalization and trust. What You'll Do
- Lead the development of large-scale models that predict not only what a member needs but when they need it across multiple financial verticals.
- Build recommendation logic that balances immediate revenue with long-term member trust and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with partner teams to define metrics that quantify revenue, engagement, user experience, and other business outcomes.
- Represent Data Science in cross-functional meetings; translate difficult technical topics for business partners.
- Explore and apply advanced ML methods including Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, GenAI for Personal Finance products.
- Work on large-scale AI systems spanning ML, AI infrastructure, data foundation, and self-serve analytics through DS methods.
- Navigate environments with trade-offs across ads/marketplace models and product categories; balance speed and scale. What We're Looking For
- Strong machine learning skills with experience building large-scale models and deploying them to production.
- Proficiency in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, recommendation systems, and Generative AI.
- Ability to connect AI work to business metrics: monetization, user engagement, and long-term value.
- Experience delivering large-scale AI systems, AI infrastructure, data foundations, and self-serve analytics.
- Experience in an Ads or Marketplace environment with trade-offs across product categories.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, large-scale organization.
