Senior AI/ML Engineer – Applied AI Lead
Overview
A fast-growing global online-trading group is hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead applied AI – taking models from development into production, building robust MLOps and delivering use cases such as client lifetime value, churn prediction and fraud/abuse detection.
Responsibilities

Design, build and productionise ML models across training, validation, deployment, monitoring and retraining

Lead use cases including CLV, churn prediction and fraud/abuse detection

Build MLOps: deployment pipelines, CI/CD, environment promotion and lifecycle management

Monitor performance, drift, data quality and business impact; define retraining strategies

Implement explainability (SHAP, feature attribution) and model governance

Partner with Data Engineering on pipelines and features, and with Product, Risk and Commercial on business problems

Mentor the team on production AI best practice
Requirements
-
5–8+ years building and deploying ML models in production

Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals

Strong ML, evaluation and feature engineering knowledge; understanding of leakage, drift, stability

Hands-on Spark/PySpark and large-scale data
-
MLflow or similar; CI/CD (ideally GitHub Actions)

Strong SQL

Track record of measurable business impact and clear stakeholder communication
