About this role
Project & Context
You will design and deliver complex enterprise agentic AI solutions and set the standard for what “good” looks like in production:
- Enterprise Agentic Architecture: design and deploy complex agentic AI systems and orchestrate agents.
- Secure Integration & MCP: implement and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that connect foundation models securely to enterprise data and internal tools.
- Security & Governance: apply fine-grained RBAC, identity propagation and deterministic policy enforcement across systems, so tools execute securely.
- Evaluation & Verification: encode correctness rules and safety guardrails so that generated output and agent actions can be trusted.
- Path to Delivery: deliver reviewable diffs, IaC and CI/CD for AI systems, and drive adoption across delivery teams.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)
- 7+ years of relevant experience at senior level
- Deep GenAI engineering: hands-on experience building agentic systems end to end, including agent orchestration frameworks, Model Context Protocol (MCP), complex function calling, structured outputs and evaluation systems
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills, so that AI agents work with enterprise data stores efficiently and accurately
- Real depth in cloud architectures
- Enterprise security fluency: identity propagation, fine-grained RBAC, IAM and deterministic policy enforcement in distributed and agentic systems
- Strong production software engineering in Python, testing, CI/CD, REST and Docker
- Languages: professional fluency in English (mandatory)
- Based in Portugal
Compensation: €2,200 – €3,100/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
