Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join our team on-site in Iași. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, invoice validation, exception handling, and vendor communication within a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• AP Processing & Operations

• Invoice Validation: Validate invoices against Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.

• Payment Execution: Support and execute the weekly payment process and regularly review on-hold invoices.

• Exception Handling: Review, troubleshoot, and resolve exception items (voucher issues, payment blocks, recycle items, approval bottlenecks).

• Duplicate Analysis: Analyze and identify potential duplicate invoices, taking proactive corrective measures.

• Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Pull, generate, and analyze financial reports from various system sources.

• Follow daily/monthly checklists to ensure scheduled tasks are completed on time.

• Stakeholder Communication

• Collaborate with the Purchasing department to resolve PO and pricing discrepancies.

• Communicate promptly via email and occasionally phone with vendors regarding payment updates and missing invoices.

• Provide quick and efficient resolution to internal customer and end-user inquiries.

• What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, or Finance.

• Experience: Approximately 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 1 year dedicated to Invoice Processing.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (reporting and data analysis) and proficiency in Outlook.

• Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of general accounting procedures and financial statement analysis.

• Languages: Strong written and verbal English communication skills (minimum B2 level).

• Soft Skills: Strong multi-tasking abilities, attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills.
