Hiring: Senior Accountant
Location: Port Harcourt (Onne) Salary: ₦1.2m–₦1.8m net/month
Industry: Hospitality & Oil & Gas YOE: 10+
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or related field
- ICAN, ACCA or equivalent certification required
- 10+ years’ accounting experience with strong Oil & Gas exposure
- Knowledge of IFRS, cost recovery, JV accounting & PSCs
- Experience with SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws & NUPRC requirements
- High integrity, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Harcourt
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements

Manage oil & gas cost accounting, JV cash calls & cost recovery

Oversee AP, AR, payroll & general ledger

Handle tax and statutory compliance

Coordinate internal, external & JV audits

Manage budgets, forecasts & variance analysis

Supervise accounting staff and strengthen internal controls

Added advantage: MBA/MSc, oil servicing/EPC/E&P experience, JOA & NNPC/NUPRC reporting knowledge.
