Senior Accountant Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 - 5 years Location Rivers City Port Harcourt Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations. Process invoices, debit notes, and payment schedules. Monitor premium collections and outstanding client balances. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, etc.). Support internal and external audits. Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing systems. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certification (ICAN
