Job title: Senior Accountant - Swellendam
About the Role BVSA Accountants & Financial Services is looking for a dynamic and qualified SAIPA Professional Accountant or AGA to strengthen our Swellendam team.
What You'll Do
- Monthly and annual accounting processing and review
- Preparation and review of financial statements
- Handling of tax matters (ITR12, ITR14, VAT) and SARS-related matters
- Client advisory and professional support
- Liaison with clients and team members
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax legislation
What We're Looking For
- Qualified SAIPA or SAICA member (or in the final stage of registration)
- Extensive practical experience in an accounting practice
- Minimum 5 years' post-articles experience
- Sound technical tax and accounting knowledge
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
