WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU:
Retool is growing rapidly and entering a new stage of maturity. To enable this growth and help Retool scale to the next level, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Corporate Accountant to support a wide breadth of our accounting operations.
This role is the backbone of our day-to-day general ledger accounting. You’ll own core month-end close workstreams and serve as the go-to person for our procure-to-pay processes. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive the day-to-day general ledger accounting across multiple financial statement line items in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Participate in the month end close process, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to deliver timely and accurate financial results
- Perform monthly prepaid, fixed asset, allocation, accrual and ASC 842 lease accounting
- Own AP, corporate credit cards, and employee reimbursements, partnering closely with stakeholders such as vendors and employees
