About the Role Lead the full accounting cycle, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements under US GAAP and Local GAAP, and fiscal compliance, to support decision-making across the organization. What You'll Do
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes; prepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheets under local standards and their US GAAP conversion.
- Execute the accounting inflation adjustment (RT 6) and prepare the audited annual financial statements.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet variance reports; coordinate and supervise external audit of financial statements; review and analyze accounting accounts.
- Manage tax settlements (Income Tax, VAT) and provincial taxes; oversee withholding, collection, and retention regimes; provide information for transfer pricing declarations; handle audits and inspections; ensure deadlines and required tax information are met.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls; provide accounting/tax guidance and support to different business areas. What We're Looking For
- University degree in Public Accounting (Contaduría Pública); current professional license/registration.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in senior accounting/tax roles; experience leading direct reports is highly desirable.
- Advanced or bilingual English (written and oral).
- Proficiency in ARCA platforms, SIAP applications, and provincial revenue portals.
- Oracle experience valued; strong command of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google tools.
- Ability to operate under corporate closing calendars and constant fiscal changes; autonomy, proactivity, assertive communication; ability to motivate and guide work teams.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; broad tax knowledge; agility and diligence in addressing fiscal/financial/accounting requirements.
- Experience in the automation of accounting or financial processes using AI tools is valued.
