Ginos Ventures Limited - As an Indigenous distributor of medical consumables and devices across Africa, we provide solutions to all problems of procurement, distribution, and supply of all medical consumables.

We currently distribute for over 15 multinational healthcare companies and have a working relationship with about 60% of healthcare institutions in Nigeria with 23 Medical Representatives and 10 mini distributors that cover major regions in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

As our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounting and financial operations, maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and providing valuable financial insights to support the growth and strategic objectives of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and Company policies.

• Handle payroll processing and monitor financial transactions.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

• Coordinate internal and external audit processes.

• Monitor budgets and cash flow activities.

• Supervise and support accounting staff where applicable.

• Ensure timely filing of taxes and statutory deductions.

• Implement and continuously improve accounting systems, processes, and financial controls.

• What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Qualified: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experienced: 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.

• Professionally grounded: ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

• Technically sound: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• Tech-savvy: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Analytical: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• A great communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Trustworthy: Demonstrates a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Mobile: Ability to drive is an added advantage.

• Available: Must be resident in Abuja.
