About this role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, inventory costing, compliance and to support budgeting and cash flow activities for a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee inventory costing, variance analysis, and stock controls
- Ensure compliance with ICAN standards and tax regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor cost controls and operational efficiency
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes
Requirements
- HND/Bsc in Accounting (a member of ICAN is a plus)
- Minimum 4 years accounting experience in a Manufacturing Company
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Excel
- Solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws (VAT, WHT, CIT)
