About the Role Senior Account Manager – Retail & CPG sits at the critical intersection between client needs and internal teams, driving strategic guidance and project delivery across digital campaigns and omnichannel initiatives. You’ll own defined client relationships, coordinate cross-disciplinary work, and translate business goals into compelling brand experiences, supported by WongDoody’s data and technology capabilities. What You'll Do
- Act as the central interface between client and internal teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
- Provide operational support, strategic advisory, and ongoing development for defined clients.
- Coordinate projects in Digital Campaigning, Social Media, New Branding, E-Commerce, Website, CRM and Media, managing resources, budgets, quality, timing, and controlling.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and workshops with clear insights and recommendations.
- Work independently as part of an interdisciplinary project team (Account Management, Strategy, Creative, Performance, Development, and Client) with hands-on mentality. What We're Looking For
- Degree in economics or communications or comparable qualification with at least 5 years of experience in account management.
- Agency experience, ideally with online focus, as account or project manager or similar role.
- Strong client and market understanding from experience in client services and coordination of online projects and campaigns.
- Broad experience across various project types (digital campaigns, social media, content creator marketing, etc.).
- Open to new and innovative projects in new technologies (AI, KI, ...).
- Strategic thinker who enjoys advising clients.
- Excellent time management with high quality standards.
- Independent working style and positive, solution-oriented hands-on approach.
- Very good German and good English spoken and written.
