About the Role Atradius CYC is recruiting a Senior Account Manager / Commercial Underwriter for Canada, based in the Montreal office. This role focuses on sustaining and expanding client relationships, underwriting and pricing renewal policies, and structuring deals across a variety of industries in a cross-cultural, international environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and build positive relationships with brokers, customers, and colleagues
- Explain policy terms and reporting requirements
- Maintain and develop knowledge of customers' trade sectors to ensure credibility and customer satisfaction
- Ensure appropriate pricing and underwriting of renewal policies in line with underwriting guidelines
- Seek management approval on policy terms or endorsement wording
- Assist in obtaining documentation for claims
- Prepare all information required for structuring and pricing deals
- Structure new business and renewal quotes for clients across various industries/trade sectors
- Foster relationships with risk underwriters and seek their support
- Turnaround quotes to broker partners with expediency
- Occasional travel to visit broker partners and policyholders

- Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to use company software/applications
- Ability to work well in a hybrid office environment
- Bilingual in French and English is a requirement
Nice to Have
- Experience in a trade credit insurance organization as an account manager or commercial underwriter
- Prior experience relating to the commercial sector of clients
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to CAD 100,000, commensurate with experience; potential bonus
