As a Director, Business Development at ICON, you will drive growth and strategic partnerships by identifying new business opportunities and enhance client relationships.

What You Will Do:

You will direct business development activities, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with ICON's overall objectives and market opportunities.
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including collaborations, partnerships, and client engagement initiatives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to drive growth and enhance ICON's reputation.
• Leading proposal development efforts and presenting innovative solutions to prospective clients.
• Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth.

Your Profile:

You will bring significant business development experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering results.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, life sciences, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience in business development within the clinical research or healthcare sector, with a proven track record of driving growth.
• Strong understanding of the clinical trial process and the needs of clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 40%)
