About the Role Priya Wason & Co. is looking for motivated professionals to join our team as Semi-Qualified CS and CS Trainees. This role offers exposure to secretarial compliance, corporate law, FEMA/RBI work, and advisory assignments in a dynamic PCS firm located in Gurgaon.
What You'll Do For Semi-Qualified CS
- Execute compliance work under Corporate Law and Statutory Law requirements.
- Analyze legal and secretarial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and internal teams for timely coordination.
- Draft and vet agreements, notices, forms, and other legal documents.
- Collate and organize information for filings, registrations, and advisory work.
- Handle correspondence with clients, regulators, and other concerned parties.
- Support FEMA/RBI compliances, startup advisory, and licensing matters.
- Assist in corporate restructuring, depository matters, and DEMAT-related work. For CS Trainees
- Assist in day-to-day secretarial and compliance tasks.
- Prepare and maintain records, registers, and documentation.
- Support in filing, tracking, and follow-up of compliance actions.
- Learn drafting, correspondence, and vetting of documents.
- Coordinate with clients and team members for required information.
- Gain exposure to registrations, licensing, FEMA/RBI work, and corporate law matters.
- Work closely with senior professionals on advisory and compliance assignments.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing CS / Semi-Qualified CS, as applicable
- Strong interest in Corporate Law, Secretarial Compliance, and Regulatory Work
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to organize information and manage deadlines
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Preferred exposure to drafting and vetting of agreements
- Experience or interest in FEMA, RBI compliances, startups, and licensing
- Familiarity with corporate restructuring
- Knowledge of depository work and DEMAT processes
- Prior internship or practical exposure in a PCS firm
- For Semi-Qualified CS: relevant academic progress or professional level exposure in CS
- Additional legal exposure, such as LLB or compliance certificates, will be an advantage
