About the Role Live Nation's Shoreline Amphitheatre is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead the venue security team. The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the security department and staff within the venue, with duties that may include management functions under the direction of the Security Manager and Operations Manager. What You'll Do

  • Direct and supervise security staff and other employees performing security services for guests.
  • Provide guest service by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.
  • Lead staff development: ongoing training, staff positioning, ensuring all staff members are well-informed on event specific details and managing breaks.
  • Assist the Security Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures that relate to the security department, as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Oversee productivity and work assignments of the security staff and communicate with the Security Manager (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
  • Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue — this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, etc.
  • Train and evaluate security team members in venues. Assign and schedule team members to specific duties. Coordinate team rest & lunch. What We're Looking For
