Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or disturbance.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure they are secure and report any issues promptly.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, logs, and communications during shifts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary to handle security situations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and directing them appropriately.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify potential threats.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively report incidents.
  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with security equipment such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and two-way radios.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings as per company policy.
