Job title: Security Supervisor
About the Role Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the security department and staff within the venue, supporting the Security Manager and Operations Manager. This role focuses on guest safety, guest service, staff training, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws during events.
What You'll Do
- Direct and supervise security staff and other employees performing security services for guests.
- Provide guest service by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.
- Lead staff, ongoing staff training, staff positioning, ensuring all staff members are well-informed on event details, and managing breaks.
- Assist the Security Manager to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures related to the security department, as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Oversee productivity and work assignments of the security staff, and communicate challenges and status of all assignments to the Security Manager before the end of the shift.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program, which could include sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about our efforts.
- Partner with fellow band members at the end of the show to close the venue — this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved sections, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs and barricades.
- Train and evaluate security team members; assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
- Coordinate team rest and lunch periods in accordance with state and local law and ensure coverage.
