About the Role AHEAD is seeking a dynamic Security Sales Leader to drive the growth and execution of the Security business for the West US region. This senior leadership role owns regional security performance, builds and develops a team of Security Sales Specialists, and forges strong relationships with customers, OEM partners, regional sales leadership, and internal stakeholders to enable secure digital transformation.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute the cybersecurity sales strategy for the West region, driving revenue and margin growth across all verticals and accounts.
- Partner with regional core sales leadership to align goals, account coverage, and execution; maintain pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
- Lead, develop, and ramp a high-performing team of Security Sales Specialists; conduct 1:1s, deal coaching, QBRs, and territory planning.
- Collaborate with core sales, engineering, partner alliances, and services to enhance go-to-market strategies, including priority plays (AI security, SASE, CTEM, SOC modernization) and solution architectures.
- Align security services and MSSP offerings to client outcomes and scale repeatable plays across the region.
- Build and manage relationships with top cybersecurity OEMs; co-own regional events, joint account planning, and executive briefings to drive pipeline.
- Own the West Security business with VP of Security Sales; track forecasts using CRM/BI tools (Salesforce, Power BI) and communicate risks and upside clearly.
- Monitor key KPIs: vendor growth, services attach rates, margins, and new logos/expansions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record building and scaling high-performing security sales teams; experience in reseller/integrator ecosystems including OEM channel.
- Customer-centric executive with ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to define and execute a regional go-to-market strategy; strong pipeline management and forecast discipline.
- Experience with CRM and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI) to drive reporting and forecasting.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills; ability to ramp new reps and drive accountability.
- Knowledge of security services (professional services, MSSP, advisory) and a capability to align services to outcomes.
- Familiarity with security priorities (AI security, SASE, CTEM, SOC modernization) and the broader cybersecurity vendor landscape.
Compensation & Benefits
- OTE: USD 400,000 – 500,000 per year (base salary + target bonus)
