Security Operations Analyst

About the Role Litera is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to strengthen our cybersecurity operations. You will monitor and respond to security threats across cloud (AWS, Azure) and on‑prem environments, lead vulnerability management, incident response, and implement security controls to ensure a resilient security posture. What You'll Do

• Monitor security events across on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) using advanced SIEM/XDR tools.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics to correlate alerts and reduce false positives.
• Triage, investigate, and escalate security incidents using automated workflows (SOAR).
• Coordinate incident response with IT, DevOps, and cloud engineering teams.
• Assist in root cause analysis and continuously update incident response playbooks.
• Assess, remediate, or escalate vulnerabilities; prioritize threats using threat intelligence feeds and AI-based scoring.
• Implement security controls across hybrid environments, including cloud configurations; enforce IAM, network segmentation, and encryption; align with Zero Trust principles and document changes for audit traceability.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Engineering teams.
• Ensure ongoing governance and compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2; maintain evidence collection and periodic self-assessments; support remediation of gaps.
• Stay current on cybersecurity trends and technologies; recommend enhancements to security policies and procedures.
• Contribute to security initiatives such as cloud posture improvements, incident response automation, and deployment of next-gen security platforms. What We're Looking For
• 2–3 years of cybersecurity experience; SOC exposure preferred.
• Experience operating in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with SIEM & SOAR; Sentinel/Defender a plus.
• Basic scripting experience; Python/PowerShell a plus.
• Awareness of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST CSF.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent).
• Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or any cloud security certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders; curiosity and problem-solving mindset. Nice to Have
• CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP certifications.
• Cloud security experience and automation familiarity.
• Experience with Sentinel/Defender.
