Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Site in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and driver authorization in accordance with site procedures.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.

• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
