As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol First Aid in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons to appropriate personnel.

• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
