Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol Protection in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide strong customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

• Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.

• Monitor access points and support the verification of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering and leaving the location.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Guard card is required.

• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
