Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter of a financial institution location.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and daily occurrences in accurate reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
