Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Bluffton, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control and badge procedures, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: 16.80 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to store associates, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and potential loss-prevention issues, helping to deter theft and other policy violations through a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
