Job Description

As a Security Officer Residential Access Control in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, verify visitors and credentials, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence. You will conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, access-control activities, and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
