Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Hastings, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will engage with employees and visitors, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: 19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a renewable energy technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
