Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a retail and mall location, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity. Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while communicating professionally with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

• Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
